The first time I heard this track, all I could think was: "Barbara Mandrell & The Mandrell Sisters Show" meets lo-fi cable access. This video is like a newly discovered gem found in your aunt's VHS collection. Honestly, the easiest and most elegant video pitch I've ever done. Once you say "Sheena Easton on Solid Gold", I mean... Anyway, this shoot was a blast, and I purposely left in clunky little mistakes while editing — odd camera movements, flubbed lip-synch — because I found them charming and comforting (like that weird granny-square blanket you wrap around yourself when right when you need it).
