DESCRIPTION
To date, this is probably the most complex album project I've ever worked on. It involved model casting a vintage American van (painted gold, no less), art-directing a Nashville photoshoot via Dropbox, and exploring the creative opportunities for blank vinyl.
It helps that Sasha and Chris were very game clients. This EP represents a chapter in their life as a band where they criss-crossed the USA touring non-stop for over a year while living out of a modified Sprinter van. Their music reflected this gritty Americana-soaked rock. The art had to speak to the bygone romance of the road, and be heroic yet grounded.
In the end, we ended up with a very special artifact of their unique journey as artists.
